After scoring off our opening centre pass they took a 4 v1 lead. To Jets credit they pressured the ball across the court coming back to create a 2 goal lead. First quarter 11 v 9. The second quarter saw the defensive combination of GK Natacha Searson, GD Bella Valeur-Adu and WD Gabby Scott dictate the flow of the game. Restricting Plymstock’s attack and producing numerous turnovers. This left Jets winning 21 v 15 at half time. Plymstock came out fighting in the 3rd quarter taking the first 4 goals unanswered. Hardwork from the team saw them again reduce the gap leaving the quarter running goal for goal. The quarter finished with Jets taking the last goal for a 31 v 30 lead. A fair result for both teams. Final score 40 v 40.
