Team jets earn fantastic win against hertford hornets

In an close opening start to the match against Hertford Hornets it was all level at 6 v 6. However in a strong push Jets were able to sink 3 goals in a row to take an 11 v 8 lead at the end of the opening quarter.

Team Jets extended this to 22 v 16 in the second quarter with Libby swapping in at WA (replacing Rosie Tonner).

With their lead extending to 31 v 26 in the third quarter the crowd were left on their feet as the opposition never gave up. It was a low scoring quarter with possession being lost and gained multiple times by each side. With 3 minutes left Jets had a 4 goal lead but the tension was building as the crowd willed the home side to hang on to their lead which they did. A very welled earned win from the squad in a highly contested game with the final score at 39 v 34.
