Team Jets travelled away today to play Team Bath Toucans who are undefeated so far this season but coach Linda Andrews is still feeling positive despite her side loosing 4 our of 5 matches as she was impressed by the players performance.
Having slipped into a ten-point deficit after the opening quarter, the Islanders rallied in the second period and more than held their own in the build-up to half-time. Toucans then introduced England shooter Sam Cook in the second half and she helped her team maintain their perfect start to the Premier League 2 campaign. ‘It was a good performance overall,' said Andrews. ‘We were looking at getting a losing bonus point but actually we did much more than that. If we had finished more of our chances it would have been a different game.' Team Jets next game is at home so please come a support them at Fort Regent on Sunday 27th November from 12pm.
