Team Jets suffer defeat away to Team Bath Toucans

Team Jets travelled away today to play Team Bath Toucans who are undefeated so far this season but coach Linda Andrews is still feeling positive despite her side loosing 4 our of 5 matches as she was impressed by the players performance.

Having slipped into a ten-point deficit after the opening quarter, the Islanders rallied in the second period and more than held their own in the build-up to half-time. Toucans then introduced England shooter Sam Cook in the second half and she helped her team maintain their perfect start to the Premier League 2 campaign.


‘It was a good performance overall,' said Andrews.


‘We were looking at getting a losing bonus point but actually we did much more than that. If we had finished more of our chances it would have been a different game.'
