U16 Jets loose two tough games

U16 Team Jets left it all on the court after two tough games today.

The squad had 2 matches today against TTNC trojan and Saints Fever.

The first game was against a very physical and well drilled TTNC side. Jets struggled to keep up with the physicality of their opponents. They put up a good fight but sadly didn’t get the results they wanted. All 10 players took to the court and gave it 100%.

After a short break the squad faced Saints fever. Saints came out firing and Jets struggled to keep up. Jets produced some amazing passages of play throughout the court and all the players gelled well in different combinations. A well contested game with Saints Fever taking the win.

OPOM of the match for both games was awarded to Sophie. Sophie’s strong holds and incredible shooting helped to keep the squad in the game. Sophie also switched roles and took on the GK job to add to the strong defensive end. A very well deserved player of the match award

Well done to the whole squad, lots of learnings to take into next weeks training.
